I have a long experience as a professional photographer of hotels, resorts and real estate all over the country, from Andalusia in cities and places like Marbella, Malaga, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Granada and Seville. They pass along to Valencia and through the peninsular centre in Madrid and Toledo and end in northern cities such as Santander, Barcelona, and Bilbao. As a photographer of hotels, I enjoy and rise to the challenge of capturing all the details such as interior warmth, atmosphere, comfort, decor and design flare? A mission my clients entrust to me. A complete photo reportage should contain general photographs showing the extend, distribution, light (natural and artificial) and styling, also other close-ups in which the details, textures and qualities used can be appreciated, as well as the outdoor areas guests enjoy including terraces, balconies, gardens, VIP areas, etc.
Property photographer, housing reports mainly in Madrid, Malaga and Cádiz, in flats, houses, apartments, studios and villas of all sizes and styles. They hire me to do reports: decorators, interior designers, architects, real estate agents, construction companies and individuals looking to advertise their house for sale or long-term rental or holiday tourism in Malaga, Marbella, Nerja, Estepona, the rest of the province, Sotogrande or in Madrid.
As for hotels, I´ve done photo essays of five, four and three-star establishments. Some of them are very modern and newly constructed, such as Capitol. In contrast, others like the classic hotel in Madrid´s Gran Via next to Plaza de Callao, now belonging to the Vincci hotel chain, is close to a century old. Also, countryside accommodation with rustic charm and a unique atmosphere like the Albamanjon hotel, located in the Natural Park Ruidera. Numerous jobs were completed on the Costa del Sol coast in the province of Malaga and in Madrid, capital of Spain, i.e. the places where I have the most significant number of hotel/resort clients. In Malaga, I photographed the Vincci Posada del Patio, the first and only 5-star hotel in the city. Completing the photo essay with photographs of the surrounding streets, gardens and closest monuments creates a thorough and exciting insight for visitors to the hotel´s website.
In the real estate field, most of my work has been in the tourist areas of Malaga and Madrid, where significant developments have many facilities and common areas (swimming pools, gym, spa, paddle tennis courts, gardens, children´s playgrounds). Both within the province in cities like Ronda and Antequera and all along the Costa del Sol including Marbella, San Pedro de Alcantara and Estepona, the latter already near Sotogrande(province Cadiz) to Nerja and Almuñecar, a first coastal town in the area of Granada. I have photographed homes ranging from small studios, apartments, flats of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms to villas and villas with extensive outdoor areas such as gardens, walks, tennis court, swimming pool, playground and recreation area.
In hotels, when photographing public areas such as the reception, cafe, library or restaurant, the appearance of one or two people, either static or moving in a diffused effect, may be an exciting addition. It is also essential to take advantage of the changing natural light.
In architectural photography, conversion to black and white often makes for a very spectacular addition offering an elegant and minimalist focus on the exciting game of lines and shapes, eliminating the distraction that colour can sometimes create. I plan to do a story of architectural photography of modern buildings in Marbella. And maybe later, for contrast, old houses in the city centre.
